I bought these for myself years ago, and decided to order two more this year for stocking stuffers. They arrived, and I checked each, just to make sure they were what I paid for. Both of the new ones were identical to each other and completely inferior to what I bought in the past. In the picture, my old ones are on the left, and have a green/gray handle. The new one is on the right. The quality of what was sent is horrible -- blades not quite smooth, cover doesn't quite fit. The company was VERY responsive, and explained that the error was because they have been overwhelmed with orders and simply made a mistake. Not so sure. And had I not already ordered the "same," I likely wouldn't have known about the lesser-quality scissors sent. They handled the return and refund flawlessly, so they do get credit for that; but I would not order again....

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I'm a real kitchen gadget nut and a while back, the tool I was using to help me with herbs and so on (which belonged to my Grandmother BTW!) bit the dust. I've been on the look out for something to replace it and to my delight, came across the FreshCut Gourmet Herb Scissors!

I've used them for a variety of herbs and even to get some herbs from my garden for that nights dinner! It is easy to use, doesn't make my hand tired, make quick work of everything since there are five blades, is easy to clean thanks to the cover that doubles as the blade cleaner, and, are you ready for this?? I used it to cut fresh kale the other day! I cleaned it, stemmed it and rolled it so I could slice it into ribbons then decided to try the herb scissors. They did a beautiful job and gave kale another look in my recipe. I love it for any green I put into a fresh salad as well as soups and so on. Honestly...it's actually fun to use and I'm always on the look out for more ways to do so!

Do yourself a favor and put the Herb Scissors to the test. You will be glad you did!

I used them on fresh parsley while making turkey soup. The scissors are easy to use and worked great. They do tell you that the scissors work best on dry fresh herbs and I can understand why - wet herbs might get a little mushy. Great product and I would consider buy this as a gift for someone in the future.

The blades cut herbs very well; but on some things like green onion and chives they tend to bruise them. Still, I am glad I bought these. These do a good job of cutting basil and oregano leaves, especially the basil. The basil comes out great in small strips - very pretty as a garnish or in dishes.

These scissors can go through parsley, cilantro, basil, chives and other herbs in seconds. I give it 4 stars because one can only get a coarse cut and if you try to stick the scissors back into the chopped herbs to keep cutting, it won't really work well....so stick to the first run through and you'll be fine.

Back to the good things...herbs don't bruise as they can with a knife blade, but look nice and fresh. Also, it's awesome for chopping directly into pots and on to dishes before serving. Overall, good value for money.

So disappointing. Maybe I had too high an expectation. I actually purchased 3 of these at the same time in order to gift two but ended up returning all three after trying the first ones. The herbs got stuck between the blades and it was a hassle and time consuming to try and get them out. I was cutting cilantro which I use all the time. I decided that it would be faster to continue to cut the herbs by hand than struggle with this. Great idea, but I think it's best to go back to the drawing board and find a way to re-engineer these. I did not try any other herbs. I was mostly interested in cutting Cilantro.
