We started a new company (Facilitas - http://www.facilitas.com/ )
because we couldn't believe how difficult it is to switch banks --
especially if you have electronic transactions like direct deposits,
automatic withdrawals and you pay bills on your bank's website.
We're Beta testing a web-based tool to make the process easier and
we're recruiting testers (it will take about 20 minutes and can be
completed anywhere you have Internet access).
Requirements:
- You currently bank online (you're able to view your account information
or do other types of transactions at your bank's website).
- You're comfortable uploading your banking activity file (a quicken or
money file that you download from your bank's website).
Note: We don't save any personal information. Also, BankSwitcher doesn't change any information, the application produces a Switching Checklist in
PDF format with the instructions and forms you'll need if you wanted to switch banks.
Compensation: $10 which includes successfully testing BankSwitcher and answering a short survey afterwards.
