The UVA Exercise and Sport Injury Laboratory is seeking healthy men
and women, ages 18 to 35 for a research study.

The purpose of the study is to determine how cooling your knee joint
will affect the ability to contract your thigh muscles. The study involves
a 20 minute ice application and a mild electrical stimulus that will assist you in contracting your thigh muscles. The study requires two sessions, lasting approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes each.


No compensation is provided for this study.
