We are seeking young people who live in Los Angeles County for
a casual and totally fun market research study about lifestyles.
For this study, you will be chosen for one of two possible scenarios:
either an in-home interview that ends with the researchers accompanying you to one of your favorite hang-out spots, or a game night party in your home with four to six of your friends. Both interviews and game nights will be scheduled at a time that works for you between January 28 and February 3.
In-home interviews involve a total time commitment of 3 to 4 hours with a small and friendly research team, who will talk with you in your home about your everyday life and then go with you to a favorite place of your choosing. They will record the visit with videotape for note-taking purposes only. You will receive $200 for your time and participation.
For a game night, we’ll ask you to set aside about four hours of your time during the day or in the evening to host 4 to 6 close friends in your home for a game night facilitated by the researchers. They will reimburse you for party snacks up to $100 and you will receive $250 for hosting the event. Each of your guests will receive $100. The game and discussion will be videotaped for note-taking purposes only.
