Just found this and entered my info...check it out for yourself!
20/20 Research, Inc. is inviting people to participate in an online bulletin board discussion regarding Energy Efficiency. The discussion will take place beginning Monday, March 3rd through Wednesday, March 5th.
A bulletin board is a new, cutting-edge way to conduct market research with busy people like you. The discussion consists of about ten other people and a professional moderator. This format allows you to log on at your convenience and take part in the current discussion anonymously. You will also be able to read everything that others have said and respond candidly.
You will need to log in twice a day, each day, and answer all of the questions posted. It should take approximately 15-30 minutes per day to answer all the questions. You can log in from any computer with a high-speed Internet connection, whether at work, home or elsewhere.
As a token of appreciation for your time and participation, we will give you a check for $75 at the end of the discussion.
We'd like to ask you to participate in a very brief (1-2 minute) online screening survey to see if you qualify for the discussion. Click below to begin the quick survey.

That's odd. They make it sound like it's a brand new way of
doing this. I've done several over the last year that used
BB's for discussions.

Do you have to upgrade from a basic account to do this? When I clicked on this it said I had to join, so I did that. Now I can't find how to get to that survey. It talks about joining. Can I do surveys for free?

I see what you mean, but I don't think they are saying it is pristinely new, just new! Anything in the last year would be fairly new in my mind.

Tomcat, I wasn't sure what you meant by this, so I clicked on the link again and I see what you mean. It took me to the main surveymonkey home page instead of to the application survey for this bulletin board discussion. My guess would be that they have filled their quota for responses to this now, so it no longer links to the survey. Sorry, these usually fill up pretty fast and even then, it doesn't mean that you will be picked to do the paid part of it, this was only the screener.
