Are you 14-17 years old?
Want to earn $75 in 45 minutes,
just for sharing your opinions about a web site?
Sociometrics Corporation (www.socio.com (http://www.socio.com/)), with a grant from the National Institute of Mental Health, is developing a new web site about sexual health topics for teens. That’s why we want to hear from you. What would you (or your friends) find interesting, important, and fresh in a website devoted to teen sexual health? We’ll show you the parts of the web site we have so far. Then we’d not only love to hear your opinion, we’ll pay you for it!
In case you’re wondering -- we are not going to ask embarrassing personal questions about your experiences with sexual health (promise). However, we will ask you for ideas and opinions about what is on the web site so far and that will help us create a web site about sexual health for teens that you would actually find interesting and useful.
Interested? Here are the details:
When and where? Saturday March 22nd at Sociometrics' offices in Los Altos. Please email or call Ruben Ruiz (800-846-3475 x204 or rruiz@socio.com) to set up an appointment. If you would like to participate but cannot come on March 22nd, let us know and if space is available we may be able to schedule you on another day.
How long will it take? About 45 minutes.
Why should I participate? Your opinion really does matter to us! Plus there’s that $75 in cash for you for 45 minutes of your time. Not bad.
Requirements:
You should be 14-17 or in high school.
You should be comfortable talking about sexual health topics. Remember, we won’t ask personal questions, but you have to be comfortable looking at a web site that contains sexual health information and talking to us about it...so you should be comfortable talking about sexual health topics in general.
Your primary language should be English or Spanish. (Let us know in advance if you prefer Spanish.)Most important! You have to have your parent or guardians permission and they have to sign a consent form. Your parents can view the consent form at: http://www.socio.com/teen/ (http://www.socio.com/teen/) and they can view the web site you will be looking at in advance (they just need to email or call us and we’ll send them the link.)
More questions? Call (800-846-3475 x204) or email (rruiz@socio.com) Ruben Ruiz and he will answer any questions you or your parents have.
To sign up: If you would like to participate, call (800-846-3475 x204) or email (rruiz@socio.com) Ruben Ruiz. We will ask you a few questions and if there are still spaces available, we will sign you up. You have to sign up in advance to participate.
