This project is looking for people to participate in a market research
study conducted by Item New Product Development (Providence RI)
This research involves a 7 day in-home trial of an (empty) custom prescription package, followed by a 2 hr in-home interview. Each participant be required to meet for an initial briefing in the next 4-5
weeks and be able to use a working prototype prescription package
as an actual replacement for their current prescription medication
during the 7 day trial. The in-home trials (and interviews) will be conducted in June.
We are looking for a total of 60 people to participate.
Each person in the study will be paid $150 for their time.
All participants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Be within one of the following three age groups:
Parents (with at least one child at home aged 6 or younger)
Mid-life adults (aged 35 – 59 yrs)
Senior adults (aged 60-75 yrs)
- Are currently taking at least 2 CVS/pharmacy dispensed tablet/capsule prescriptions (you must be using CVS/pharmacy for your prescriptions)(Disqualifying exceptions: no controlled drugs, no topical creams or injectable medications, no psychiatric medications)
- Are a resident in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut or Southern New Hampshire (within an approximate 90 minute driving radius from Providence)
- Be able to understand and follow medication instructions
- Have no life-threatening conditions or be at end-stage care
- Do not work in product design, pharmacy, marketing or market
research fields
