Sociometrics Corporation of Los Altos, CA is seeking adults 60 years
of age and older to participate in a paid ($75) usability test to be
held at our office in Los Altos, CA this Saturday, March 29. These
sessions are 50 minutes.

Background on our project

With federal funding from the National Institute on Chronic Diseases and Health Promotion, we have developed a prototype computer-based health education tool called Know the Risks: Alcohol and Older Adults. The program offers user-friendly, non-judgmental information about the potential age-related risks of alcohol use/misuse, including a focus on alcohol/medication risks.

For this usability test, we will ask you to take a look at our prototype of the application and explore its features, telling us what you think about the design, ease of use, helpfulness of content offered, etc. We will not ask you to discuss any personal information regarding alcohol or medication use.

NOTE: IF YOU ALREADY PARTICIPATED IN THE EARLIER TESTING OF THIS APPLICATION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS SECOND ROUND OF TESTING.

Who can participate?

Men and women ages 60 and older; those with minimal comfort or experience with computers are welcome to participate.

What does it pay?
