Project Stride
The Miriam Hospital is looking for healthy men and women to participate in Project Stride. Project Stride is an individualized physical activity program to help you feel better, look better, and get in shape.
Project Stride is a research study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and designed to help you become more physically active. You will be involved with the study for one year. If you are eligible to participate, you will be assigned to one of two groups. Both groups will receive exercise information through the mail. The exercise information is based on previous research that was shown to be effective in helping people become more physically active. Participants will be compensated for their time.
Am I eligible to participate?
Are you 18-65 years old?
Not a regular exerciser
Must be a healthy adult, without high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, or heart disease
