What is the purpose of the study?
We are asking you to take part in a study of publics’ assessment of city Web sites and any relationship between the use of city sites and civic engagement.
What will be done if you agree to take part in this research study?
Once you agree to participate in this survey, you will be directed to survey pages that you will complete. This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
What are the possible benefits to taking part in this research?
By participating in this survey, you are contributing to the development of research tradition in the field of online communication. Your input in this survey will be used by cities to better serve citizens including you.
Will there be any compensation for participation?
You will be asked your email address to which we will send a $5.00 gift certificate in compensation for your participation. We will select gift certificate recipients by drawing. Your email address will be used for the certificate distribution purpose only. If you are selected as a gift certificate recipient, we will send you a pass code to your email that will be used to redeem the certificate at the site.
