Central NJ 9-10 year old girls Research Study $25 plus other small incentives
The Jersey Girl Study
New Jersey scientists are currently recruiting healthy 9 and 10 year—old girls into a study investigating how environmental factors affect girls’ growth and development. The study is a collaboration of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, UMDNJ’s School of Public Health, the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute and the New Jersey Family Medicine Research Network.
Participants can get:
*a free analysis of their dietary intake Body measurements including % body fat
* a$25 gift card and the “Jersey Girl StudyPen”
* the satisfaction of helping others
Who can participate?
* 9 and 10 year-old girls living with her biological mother able to speak and read English (both girls and their biological mothers)
Who cannot participate?
* Girls with a sister who has the same date of birth
* Girls with certain chronic conditions (including severe chronic asthma, renal disease, epilepsy, hormonal related disease, neurological disorders, cancer, type 1 diabetes, or eating disorders)
