Hurricane Ike victims - Free Cleaning kits from Salvation Army

The Salvation Army began distributing free cleaning kits Monday, 9/29/08, to those affected by Hurricane Ike .

Dave Corbin drags a trash bag of office items ruined during flooding from Hurricane Ike at Sandcastle Realty on Market Street in Galveston. He and his wife, Suzanne Jackson Corbin, who owns the business, spent the day cleaning.
The cleaning kits contain scrubbing brushes, a large and small broom, one mop, latex gloves, work gloves, a 32-ounce Clorox container and a 28-ounce liquid deodorizer, among other items.
The cleaning kits are being distributed in conjunction with The Salvation Army’s ongoing disaster relief efforts, which include meal distributions and emotional and spiritual support.
You can pick up a cleaning kit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at any of these distribution locations:
