Chicken Cooked in Foil
CHICKEN COOKED IN FOIL
This is an easy and flavorful way to bake chicken. It's also easy to cut the recipe down to make just one or two servings. If you leave the garlic out, (which I do because of my gastoparesis), it's a good recipe if you have a delicate stomach. I found this recipe on Food.com
I also cooked my chicken a little longer, 60 minutes instead of 40.
This is the original recipe:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Cut 4 10 inch squares of heavy-duty foil.
Pour 1 TBSP on each sheet of foil; spread to cover the foil.
Place chicken on foil squares.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Fold and seal foil.
Place foil packs on cookie sheet.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Serve chicken from foil packets.
Be careful when opening; steam is trapped inside.
