Does anyone know how to download a DVD movie to the computer? My son has some movies I'd like to burn to dvd for my mother, I know there is free software out there, can you tell me how to do it? Also will this let me download movies from other sites?

It depends on whether it's protected or not. I believe there are a few that will rip a locked version, but that's considered piracy and there is a hefty fine if you're caught. You can load something onto your computer IF you own the original DVD or if it's a homemade movie. You can check Cnet.com for free downloads.
