According to a report published by The National Restaurant Association, data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that Americans are now spending more dining out than they are spending on groceries.

For singles and couples, busy work weeks are the main reason cooking at home has been outsourced. This group dines out about 2.8 times per week. The most frequent restaurant patrons are millennials. According to The Boston Consulting Group, millennials are likely to dine out 3.4 times per week, regardless of their income or household composition.

In addition to reviews, Yelp has restaurants that offer deals through their site. Enter the word “restaurant” in the search box, provide your city, and the “Offering a Deal” option can be found under the “All Filters” button.
