The Bixbee Story –

Their vision for helping kids reach their potential through better educational opportunities first took shape with a journey. Founder Luis Garcia spent five months in 2010 exploring new places and volunteering with kids at schools and orphanages in the world’s poorest countries.

While at an orphanage in India, Luis handed out pencils to a classroom of excited students. Their enthusiasm made a deep impression. He realized the children were like millions of others around the world, eager for an education, but lacking basic supplies.

Determined to help and do something that would have a lasting impact, veteran product designer Luis partnered with Kalon Gutierrez and launched Schoolbags for Kids – a line of ergonomic and fashionable backpacks. Now as Bixbee, they are making unique bags & accessories for kids and their One Here. One There. impact continues.
